海关查获象牙制品1.38千克

　　近日，温州海关驻机场办事处报关员在对由香港飞来的KA798航班进行监管时，发现一名中国籍男子的行李X光机图像存在异常，结果在其箱中查获项链、手镯、笔筒等象牙工艺品9件。经查，当事人由南非经由香港转机至温州入境，携带象牙制品回国以作收藏。根据我国《濒危野生动植物国际贸易公约》，象牙属于禁止进出境物品，现温州海关已将该批象牙工艺品予以查扣。
